So much Green Journal page by Gemma

Hello Everyone

I have a journal page to share with you all today. I have been struggling, creatively for a bit, So I went back to basics I had learnt when I started art journaling. Keeping my background colours within the same colour family with a contrast colour over the top. I also stamped the words 'Play', 'experience' and 'learn' in the circles as that is what I constantly have to remind myself to do with my Craft/Art supplies.

I started by covering the page with Gesso. Then using an old key card I scrapped Vibrant Turquoise, Fresh Lime and Cut Grass Dylusion paints over the whole page, allowing a small amount of drying time between layers.

I then sponged some Cut Grass Dylusions paints through the Sequin Waste mask, moving the mask to different areas of the page.

I also sponged paint through the Random Dots mask before using Squeezed Orange Dylusion paint to stamp the circle from the decay journaling stamps three times. I then mixed a small amount of the Squeezed Orange panit with water and allowed it to drip down the page from the bottom of the circles and allong the side of the page.

To finish the page off I added circles using lids and black and white inks. I then doddle a little with black and white paint pens

Leafy journal page by Debs

Hi Everyone, here is my latest project, which started life sometime ago as a mop up page

I used the Swirls and splats Mask and added some white pen after adding some more paint through the random dots mask.

Using some the new stamps from The Artistic Stamper I stamped some of the new Mushrooms from Tit Belsoeur at the bottom of the page masking some of the mushrooms to get some dimension

Then i added some of the new Ivy stamp by Leslie Mathewson

I coloured the ivy with green pastel pencils and white pen and coloured the mushrooms with assorted brown pastel pencils, although it doesn't really show up on the photo.

I also stamped some of the new words from the new Framed Words #1 onto book paper and added those to the page

Added a black edge around the whole page using a Black Pitt Pen, this was a bit random for me
and is just going to be one of those journal pages that never quite gets finished, which i am sure we all have.  One of those pages that you are happy with until the next time you look at it and see something else you can do to it.
As always do let me know what you think

I shall look forward to seeing your entries into this months Anything Goes Challenge

Mushrooms by Titbelsoeur

Hello everyone,

I am so happy that Jennie did make stamps with my drawings, that I had to make a nice project with my mushrooms !

I gathered some of them into... guess what ? a sardine can, what else ?

I first colored the bottom of the can with alcohol inks, and then stamped the mushrooms on a gelli-printed paper. Then I cut these out and highlighted the outlines with a white pen.

Then, I glued all around moss from my backyard, a twig and a champagne cork... and here is my finished project :

Heart Canvas by Gemma

Hello Everyone

I have a square canvas to share with you all today. This canvas started with a layer of Gesso and no real plan, I just felt the need to play and explore with different items on my table.

I spread an old fairly dried out crackle paste over the canvas in different areas and then I pushed the sequin waste masks into the paste while it was wet. The paste that was picked up on the bottom of the mask was pressed onto other areas of the canvas.

The paste took some time to completely dry, but I did apply it very thickly. I added a layer of Gesso over the top of the paste and while that was still wet I started to apply and blend in different colour acrylic paints. The paints I used were Basic Buff Titanium, Ranger paint dabbers in Espresso, Mushroom and butterscotch and Paperartsy's Toffee.

Using the same sequin waste mask I sponged white paint through onto different areas.

I then cut hearts from chipboard and applied a thinner coat of crackle paste, resulting in a much faster drying time.

After painting over the top with acrylic paint I stamped onto the hearts using calligraphy mat 11 and Pitch black (Ranger),slate (PaperArtsy) and white acrylic paint.

After coating the canvas in a layer of gel medium I ripped strips of washi tape and placed them on the canvas going over the top with more gel medium. I also used gel medium to glue the hearts into place.

Enjoy your Summer by Titbelsoeur

Hello everybody,
Here are 2 cards for Summer greetings,
To make the backgrounds, I have used acrylic paint on to my gelli plate, then stamped the beach umbrella (from Seaside No. 1 # 018 A5 in Sea and Sand) to make a ghost print. And when dry, I have stamped the umbrella again with Prussian Blue acrylic paint to have this uneven look :

Pop back here to link up using the Inklinkz at the bottom of this post, so that we can see what you've made and then, leave us a comment to let us know you have joined in with the challenge.
As always, there will be candy for one randomly picked entrant - the winner will receive a stamp of their choice from The Artistic Stamper
In addition, you can enter the same challenge on Facebook!
To join us on just go to our new Facebook group, and send us a request to join..
There will be a prize for the Facebook challenge, as well as the blog challenge!
And don't forget....if you use The Artistic Stamper stamps on your entry, you will entered into the draw, twice!
Here is some creativity for you from the Creative Team to help you get started....

Still experimenting Gelli Plate backgrounds with The Artistic Stamper's stamps, and adding people stamps on these to make different framed pictures, I made this one with the bamboo background, and then stamped Franswar as a person :

Recycled art from cardboard and matchsticks, using PaperArtsy paints, the large light bulb and

I created a postcard, using PaperArtsy paints as a background, then  adding Kat's Mini Houses as beach huts, and shells from Seaside Plate #1. I coloured the beach houses in with Tombo Dual brush pens. Finally a little bit of glitter to make it pop!

Had a bit of fun with this one, I used a Large Matchbox, some thin card to cover, Artistic Stamper Masks, Designs by Georgina Masks, cogs background stamp, Tick Tock flowers and Phineas stamp.  All colouring is done with Distress Ink

We hope that you will join in this month's challenge, and also join us on Facebook too, and we look forward to seeing your creations. Don't forget to add a comment when you have posted your entry.
Have a creative month
