Beauty no.2 - by Sioux Jenneys

Hi all! It's my turn to share a card with you :)
Spookily I used the same title and word stamp as Alison the other day!

1. Stamp the Baroque background onto a blue card base using Versamark ink and heat emboss with clear powder.

2. Use the Baroque background again to stamp onto some pink card using Distress Ink victorian velvet then overstamp with the Music background in Versafine onyx black.

3. Trim to size and add a decorative edge at the bottom using a Sizzix T!m Alterations die or decorative scissors.

4. Stamp the 20's lady from the Twenties No1 #010 plate using Adirondack Archival coffee onto a square of watercolour paper with rounded off corners, and colour using Distress Ink victorian velvet on the hat and worn lipstick on the lips ;)

I used watered down instant coffee for the skin but you will no doubt have your favourite colour for skin tones.
...(yes real instant coffee! It's not a new colour of Distress!!! LOL)

5. For a bit of contrast I coloured the hair with a black glitter gel pen and added a point of blue in the eye, again with a gel pen.....lightly colour the square with Distress Ink weathered wood and add a black edge with a marker pen.

6. Mat and layer this firstly onto some pink card then some blue then some black.

7. Stamp the word Beauty in black from the Nudes 063 plate onto some inked card and matt onto a piece of the music background made in step 2 then onto a piece of black card....add some Prima Pearls/Gems and Rainbow Assortment ribbon.

She is a real beauty to stamp and colour :)  See you again soon!
xoxo Artyjen

I love the way you've used a square and Tim's on the edge die to make a fancy matt. It's really effective.
